Nine Haikus

1.
There are wolves outside.
Lock the doors and get hidden,
Not dinner tonight.

2.
Pale saints watching you
You cannot escape the stares
Of those already gone.

3.
My smile grows for you
There is a warmth in my heart
A light in my life.

4.
The killer exhales
Picks up the scalpel again
And begins to cut.

5.
I hear the noises
Whatever they are, I’m scared.
Lets go back to Earth.

6.
Deadly ghosts follow
Stopping the future stone dead.
Give up and perish.

7.
My scream elevates
Cuts through the night air sharply
No one hears it fly.

8.
The same old story
A loving boy cast aside
For a handsome one.

9.
Deal with the ending
Watch the credits scroll slowly
End of days has come.
