Happy Friday and welcome to another Kendallrock compilation. Again it is an ‘idea’ rather than a single band, this time the songs all have to have numbers in their titles. You cannot use the same artist twice. You should also avoid using the same numbers but honestly choosing between 12 Reasons Why and 12 Things I Forgot was impossible, and essentially there IS a longer version of the MLS hit called 17 Reasons Why, which could be here but is not on Spotify, so blame them not me! Also I did not consider 5:19 to be the same as 5 and 19 but I did count Five and One in the Doors title. Confused? Don’t be, I’ve been scribbling these down for a few days, with help from my buddy Jon, although he has got used to me saying “I don’t like that” to a LOT of his punk choices. But he DID remind me of In The Year 2525, so thanks for that definite inclusion AND Disco 2000, which I would have been annoyed to have forgotten.

This collection, as a compilation, is a 20 track CD rather than the individual band 14 trackers that are made for vinyl and cassette.

What choices do you like? What don’t you like? What did I miss? Let’s Play. Reply here or over on the Tweetbird @Kendall_LaceyUK and I promise to respond when I get a moment. <3
