Leaving the house is so passe and Xbox has got your back. The new Xbox Game Pass gives you a whole world of gaming to discover at your leisure for the low low price of 7.99 per month.
If you want to give it a try, there is currently a free 14 day trial to take advantage of, just head on over to the Xbox store.
So what do you get? Well there are over 100 games at launch. Like with the Games With Gold offer, you get a choice of titles which can be downloaded to your console for play at any time. Whatever your tastes, there will be more joys here than you can wish for – there are big titles such as Halo 5, the Gears Of War and the Bioshock series, but the joy here is that you can go slightly off centre and try out some games that perhaps you would have skipped when having to pay full price for them. For example, I instantly grabbed NBA2K16, which features an incredible career mode, directed by Spike Lee. But I also nabbed Pac-Man Museum, featuring some of my favourite games ever, including, at last, an arcade perfect version of Pac-Land which took me back to playing the arcade game and is still a challenge and a joy.
I can easily count 25 must play games before I even start veering off into titles I might never try normally and with more titles coming monthly, this is an essential purchase – 100 games for less than the price of two pints a month? Yes please, Major Nelson, yes please!
