Some great new posters for the forthcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby have just been revealed, the best of which feature a chiselled Leonardo Dicaprio and a beautiful Carey Mulligan. These posters certainly have a Jazz Age feel to them but I am not quite sure about a classic Fitzgerald tale being told in 3D, surely the great thing about Fitzgerald’s novel is the speech, it is the dialogue that spurs the action along, it’s hardly a place where you are likely to find things being thrown out of the screen, or maybe that was the idea the author had all along after one too many cocktails?
