I have certainly spent an incredible amount of hours in front of my machine playing Word Soup, it is one of the most addictive, frustrating, agonisingly simple and ridiculously brilliant puzzlers of all time. If you haven’t played it, then seriously, get on it, it’s like the twisted child of Boggle and Tetris as you put together word, the letters of which then disappear from the grid slowly but surely building up on the screen. These letters reach the top and it is game over. Easy to play but hard to master as the box would no doubt say, if games still had boxes.
Why am I telling you this? Well, those of you with iOS or Android technology can now get your hands on this little gem directly from iTunes, give them £1.49 and they will give you the world. If not the world, then at least one of the best games ever and that’s good enough, isn’t it?
